The Great Land Christian Church Fairbanks is dedicated to loving God and one another. We look for opportunities to make faith practical and make a tangible impact on our city.

We are a church founded on preaching the whole Bible, with Jesus as our cornerstone. Our goal is to make a tangible impact in the community in which we live. We love to get into the Scriptures and live them out in practical ways each and every day. We teach a personal, active relationship with God, based on daily reading the Bible and prayer. We focus on serving the community, with regular volunteer opportunities.

Seattle is hosting a HOPE Youth Corps June 19th-30th. They are looking for four more men to join the team, ages 16 to 24. They will be partnering with a couple of organizations to help downtown homeless men, women, and children. Some of the projects include building a tiny home for a homeless encampment, visiting a tent city and providing basic necessities, and documenting stories of those who live on the street (like Humans of New York). Participants will be staying at a hostel across the street from Pike Place. Application deadline is May 1st. https://www.hopeww.org/seattlehyc2019
